Default Switching Characters

I just did a search and did not find this (may have been removed). I would like top se a system where we could change characters without logging out of the game. Have something similiar to what we have now, but set it so we do not have to completely log out to switch from one to another. WOW has a similiar system set up in that once you log in you are in a main character select screen, and you can go to that screen at any time to switch between all of your characters.
